A reputable public institution invites applications from suitable qualified, experienced result-oriented persons for the following position: Principal Programme Officer, Vaccine Manufacturing Job Purpose • To provide senior professional and supervisory support for implementation technical assessment and monitoring of programmes and initiatives aimed at developing domestic vaccine and sera manufacturing capacity Key Duties and Responsibilities • Provide technical input into formulation and review of vaccine manufacturing policies, programmes and technical guidelines • Supervise implementation, monitoring and evaluation of assigned programmes and activities • Coordinate technical assessment of proposals relating to domestic vaccine manufacturing • Coordinate technical engagement with relevant regulatory authorities on assigned manufacturing programmes • Support collaboration with researchers, manufacturers and other technical stakeholders involved in vaccine and sera development • Coordinate implementation and monitoring of approved technology transfer activities • Analyze technical and programme information and prepare recommendations for management consideration • Supervise collection, maintenance consideration • Supervise preparation of annual and periodic performance reports • Supervise and appraise subordinate staff • Perform other related duties assigned by the Deputy Director Qualification Required & Experience • A minimum of a master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomanufacturing, Chemical Engineering or any other related disciplines from an accredited tertiary institution • Membership of a relevant and recognized professional body, where applicable • A minimum of 6 years post Bachelor’s relevant work experience in a reputable institution Location: Accra How To Apply For The Job Interested and qualified persons should submit: • Application letter • Detailed Curriculum vitae (CV) • Copies of relevant academic and professional Applications should be submitted via email to: elkanahephpha@gmail.com Applicants should state ‘Principal Programme Officer, Vaccine Manufacturing’ as the subject of the email.
