Job Description Job Title: Marketing/Sales Officer Location: Tarkwa, Ghana Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager / Managing Director Job Summary The Marketing/Sales Officer is responsible for promoting the company’s roofing products, identifying new business opportunities, generating sales, maintaining strong customer relationships, and increasing the company’s market share. Key Responsibilities • Identify and develop new customers, including contractors, construction companies, hardware stores, and individual homeowners. • Promote and sell the company’s roofing products and services. • Conduct regular market visits and customer follow-ups. • Prepare quotations and assist customers in selecting suitable roofing products. • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients. • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competitor activities. • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events. • Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns. • Ensure excellent customer service before and after sales. • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. Qualifications • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in sales or marketing (experience in roofing, building materials, or construction industry is an advantage). • Valid Ghanaian driver’s licence is an added advantage. Skills & Competencies • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. • Self-motivated and target-driven. • Good presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. • High level of integrity and professionalism. •Female applicants will be an advantage.
