Foreman-Crusher Plant

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE • To support supervisors in supervising operators and attendants to ensure daily targets are achieved at the crushing plant. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES • Ensure safety work permits are properly completed and lock out procedures are followed before work starts. • Carry out allocated maintenance work within required time frames to keep the plant running and support production targets. • Install and repair mechanical components to maintain reliable plant operation and minimise downtime. • Clean and lubricate machinery components as part of routine maintenance activities. • Monitor plant maintenance needs and report shortages of spares promptly. • Support safe, reliable and quality crusher plant operations through effective task execution. Qualification Required & Experience Education & Qualification • O’ level, A’ level, Middle School Leaving Certificate,NVTI,SSCE,HND or its equivalent. • Computer literacy. Experience • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in processing plant operations. • Experience in planning and organisation of crusher operations. Knowledge & Skills • Knowledge of maintenance practices involving material handling systems, including hands on experience with crushers and conveyors. • Good knowledge of crusher plant operations and preventive maintenance. • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality of work. • Good interpersonal, written and communication skills. • Must be medically fit for the position and the environment. • Valid driver’s license with proficiency in driving a light vehicle.
